The Blue Ocean in RED
This video is my "best of" collection for the past year. Image capture was with the RED One camera using Nikon lenses. Locations include the Maldives, Alaska, California, Cocos Island Costa Rica, and Mexico. Music was composed by Shie Rozow.

Someone asked... yes, that's a blue whale.
Michele
Best wishes to you and THANKS...
Are you using a Red MX now?
and the shot at the end is amazing with the swordfish
genius
I'd just love it!!
Thanks a lot
The shots are great.... stunning!
I am curious how one locks a camera down while waves are crashing overhead?
Love every frame of this.
ps. i want to go to there.
Thanks.
Steve
Jawdropping.
Easily on the same level as National Geographic and IMAX productions!
Congratulations from Portugal!
Great work

When people ask me why I dive, this is what I show them.
[Along with a good cave and wreck diving clip or two]
I am only beginning to get into the world of underwater videography, and can only hope to be near this level of work someday.
Thanks!
I had no formal training. I looked at images, movies, styles that I liked and asked questions about how it was done. You might look at an essay I wrote called "Breaking-in." It's on my website. Thanks for kind words
Howard
I'm going to apply to a company called 'Scubazoo' (scubazoo.com/about/job-opportunities/) for a one year internship. Only problem is I am still only an AOW diver with 50 dives. They're looking for a Divemaster with 200+ dives. I hope that the fact that I am studying Film at Uni will help me.
Any advice?
Inspiring stuff indeed. I've recently returned from a year in The Maldives (North Male Atoll) working as a videographer, but on DVCAM with a Ikelite housing so nowhere near this quality.
I've just finished a Masters in Cinematography and am considering going down the RED path. Can I ask what housing you use and any external lighting configuration?
Also, are you at 2 or 4k?
Thanks very much
