Cheri Sheridan is a fabric artist from Cortland NY and a member of the "Quilt Divas" (thequiltdivas.com) - an association of quilt & fabric artists from the Fingerlakes region of Upstate New York.

The Quilt Divas created an art quilt to benefit the "Dining for Women" charity (diningforwomen.org) - an organization of women helping women that donates funds to charities that empower women & girls throughout the developing world.

Cheri created a panel inspired by the "Heifer International" (heifer.org) program, which provides gifts of livestock and training to 3rd world families so that they can improve their nutrition and generate income in sustainable ways.

During this interview Cheri discusses her artistic choices in depicting the joyful mission of Heifer International - and why creating such art is much more fun than chasing after loose cattle.

Bruce McKee (brucemckee.org) - interview, video, & video editing.

Sheryl Sinkow (sinkowphotography.com) - high-resolution quilt photo used for quilt closeup shots.
