I made this to test the video quality of the new Olympus E-5 - their first digital SLR with video capability. It was shot with the Olympus 12-60mm zoom lens, mostly at ISO 400 in manual or aperture priority exposure mode with the camera's built-in image stabilization turned on. With no camera support the video is still pretty shaky and I did resort to stabilization in post (Adobe Premiere Elements) for a couple of clips. If I do more of this backcountry video stuff I'm going to need to get a video rig and some sort of packable camera support.
