For a man that has played an integral role in English fashion, they don't come more humble than Ian Paley. Having helped paved the way for brands such as Paul Smith and their denim program, Paley is a walking encyclopedia of fashion and production knowledge. It came only as natural to take his acquired skills into his very own venture which encompasses both The Garbstore the retailer and the brand. We visited with Ian in Notting Hill Gate, London to talk shop with the charismatic personality.
