    Amazing!

    What camera was used? Phanthom?

Was there any major post-processing such as overlaying video to achieve the Bokeh or the focus pull in beginning?

Drool over the high speed camera. You make good use of it.

on those pan shots, you must be moving the camera at incredible speeds, to achieve an almost motionless look

looks great. Looks photo real. Can you slow down the focus pull? If you where shooting at 300-500fps, the focus might not go in and out as fast has you have set your key frames values to. They are set perfect for 24fps but what frame rate are you mimicking? Looks so good either way! Unbelievable dynamics!

this makes me think of insanity, but at the same time, provides a closer look at science and nature. It's the slowing and breaking down of everything that's going on in chaos, but at the same time, isn't it perfectly sane? it's just nature of everything it is.
thanks for giving me something to think about.

Funny how no one even noticed paint is changing its color (first few seconds of this clip, starting as blue, over purple/red, and finally ending as pink). That does not happen in real life, so I would say this is definitely CGI. Also, pay attention to the part starting at 00:55 sec. How's that possible? Those little particles zooming out and red paint stream so static practically not even moving?
  • floating 1 year ago
hi sasha, we have used an animated colorcorrection in the postpro, but the paint is real filmed with an highspeedcam
  • Seiishu 1 year ago
Thanks for the clarification. What about the part starting at 00:55 sec ? It's really puzzling =)

Fascinating to see the contained nature of the paint, and its resistance to mixing when two colours come in contact.
