This video was made by Hanna Sauchanka (born 1986, from Belarus), Žiga Divjak (1992, Slovenia), Aliaksandra Ihnatovich, Andrey Garan, Katarina Rešek (1991, Slovenia), Marko Lavrin and Matic Drakulić. Says Hanna: “I always give quite a lot of attention to my own dreams from my childhood. Growing up and getting involved in loving cinema and making my own videos, I always used my dreams as a source of inspiration somehow, then when I got older representation of dreams in visual culture and cinema became the topic of my thesis. For the moment I am trying to mix this interest with video-making practice, so ‘Save It For the Morning After’ was our collective attempt to mix documentary and experimental forms in representing different people dreaming experience. How do people describe their dreams is extremely interesting in both artistic and sociological aspect, because personal background and context always has specific influence on dreams, this is the basic idea that we were trying to illustrate in our film.”
