I made this one in 2004. My mom taught me how to use her sewing machine. So if you ever wanted to know how to use one, THIS is the video for you.

    Computer-driven? Wha? Like you press in codes and it does different stitches? There a no nobs or moving parts except for the needle?

    in a way - you punch in what kind of pattern you want etc and it will do it - also you can connect it to a computer (lapto for example) and it will 'sew' for you - almost like a printer ie do pretty floral patterns or something. Also you push one thing and it sews a button hole - it's pretty impressive

    hahah! Yeah that's my mom or it could have also been my aunt. They sound alike. I mainly wanted to learn how to hem pants but also wanted to fix things that have worn. I will probably post something when I make it.

    hey, your long hair looks totally radicool!

    My mom bought me a sewing machine months ago and I've yet to use it because I'm intimidated by the complexity of threading the needle. It looks pretty complicated. Your mom is a pro! It seems you got the hang of it too! This has inspired me to give it another go...

    i sometimes miss the hair but for the most part i think i'm cuter with short hair. hahahah!

    it's too much of a hassle. the hair i mean. the sewing machine is great once you get it set up. You just need to bring it out and set it up and leave it out so you are more likely to use it. good luck!
