Staying true to our focus on important global issues, in September 2010 The Terry Project (terry.ubc.ca) had the pleasure of hosting world renowned musician, poet and activist K'naan at the UBC Chan Centre for a personal talk and interactive q&a.

In his talk, K'naan shares his reflections on conflict, peace, and overcoming cultural divides while touching on the power of art and music in shaping minds and beliefs.
