I took the Zi6 today out in some different types of conditions including low light. When set in HD mode, not HD60, the video is much better and less jittery.

Great examples of shooting with the Zi6 different conditions. Interesting that you note that it is less jittery when using the 30fps vs 60fps HD modes. I wonder why that is? Perhaps someone who knows about such things can explain.

Most likely due to poor playback or encoding, because 60p will always look smoother. Also for 720p60 playback, need to have a decent CPU. Even on a core 2 duo CPU, the usage can get upto 40% at times, which implies if u have an old school single core CPU, u wont even get 60 fps playback.
