Great Sound! It's a nice piece of sound design, how did you compose it?
  • Audionerve 1 year ago
    Hey Ed,

the music is based on some insect foley sounds recorded in the alps and dolomites. They were all recorded on a Zoom H2 with an optional Beyerdynamic Lavalier-Microphone. Back home, the samples were edited in WaveLab 7, production was done with Cubase 5 and VSTIs from NI, Arturia, Brainworx, Antress and more...

    Cheers,
    J.

  • Paul Hoppe plus 1 year ago
Too awesome! Is are the vvvv patches reacting to the audio in realtime or are you rendering a sequence and editing it to the track in post?
  • I rendered about 10 different clips by using Fraps. I changed everytime some values like shading, fill, blendmmode, particle-count, etc. and let the song play. After that, i've imported those clips in AfterEffects as layers and cutted them.
  • Paul Hoppe plus 1 year ago
Ok cool, thanks for the quick reply!

The video was amazing, what program were you using??
I really really really enjoyed this and this was the first time I have ever been exposed to music like this! I mean you have dubstep aspect to you then progressive than a little bit a drum and bass. What genre do you consider your self?
  • Audionerve 1 year ago
    Hey Sebastian,

I try not to think in genres while producing. It just happens. ;)

    You name it.

    Glad you like it. ;)
    Cheers
  • Sabastian Jackson 1 year ago
You better keep making this music! I haven't been addicted to a specific genre since I started listening to Pendulum.

I was thinking about calling this "Music Orgy" (I mean the "Excessive indulgence in a specified activity" definition).

I went to your website to see if I could download this song but I couldn't find it so I was wondering if this song and "INCT" will be free?
  • Audionerve 1 year ago
    Hey Sab,

the song will be on my forthcoming album which will be out in january via Project Mooncircle. Maybe check their website from time to time to keep you updated: projectmooncircle.com

    Cheers

What is that effect called when the music stutters or goes like disorder?

    Like in 0.15, 0.22 and 0.30
  • Audionerve 1 year ago
Hmmm, some call it stutter, some call it glitch, others may call it a fast square lfo modulation...

    You decide. ;)
