This is video taken during a protest at the 2008 DNC. The protest was the Anti-Capitalist, Everything for Everyone march. The march took place on 8/25/08 and started at Civic Center Park in Denver, CO. The police overreacted and sprayed people with tear gas with out warning. No dispersal order was ever given and they had no reason to react in the way they did. After people were sprayed with tear gas, they quickly tried to surround everyone, so people ran into the park and continued marching down 15th Ave. With in a few blocks hundreds of riot police surrounded marchers with out citing any reason for detainment. The police would say we were free to go, yet they blocked us from leaving; the only way out was arrest. After holding people for around two hours, they finally let people go.
