Each year the students of Calvary Christian Academy (Fort Worth, Texas) collect food for the needy during the holidays. Even though CCA has less than 400 student (K through 12th. grade) they collect more canned and non-perishable food than any other private food drive in the entire DFW Metroplex and possibly the state of Texas. Last year they collected over 50,000 items. Within the school, the competition to be the top "canner" is fierce. The winning class gets to hold the coveted "Golden Can" for a year. For this year's 14th. annual drive CCA sent the "Golden Can" on a world-wide Olympic style journey. It's just for fun.....Enjoy!
