    Studied this for a bit, and noticed that if you need to cross diagonally and you get there in time for the light to cross *straight* across Dundas (together withe cars driving on Yonge), you can then immediately cross Yonge when the lights switch (for the cars driving on Dundas) and be at the other end before the scramble part of the cycle even starts. If you get there and the lights are just turning green for the cars on Dundas, it's worth waiting for the scramble.

    I was watching the streetcars more than anything. I'm glad the motorists respect the streetcar and its passenger by stopping behind the streetcar (in both lanes) to let passengers safely on and off the vehicle.
