On August 28, 2010, Amit and Sonali married at the Black Gold Golf Club in Yorba Linda. Sonali began her day at Ziba Beuaty in Artesia, where she had the infamous Oscar Naranjo prepare her for her special day! She wore a bright red lehnga with silver and gold embroidery. Sonali was a ton of fun in the morning, we had a great time together.
We headed to the ceremony site for the baraat that started promptly at 5:00 pm. The groom arrived on a white horse with all of his friends and family family dancing and singing to the sounds of the dhol. The pundit, Dr. Shukavak, performed a traditional hindu ceremony that was a mixture of both cultures, Punjabi & Sindi. The ceremony took place in a beautiful wide open gazebo looking over the golf course. She had gorgeous bouquets of white and yellow flowers that hung over the ceremony area. The main aisle was designed with paisleys made out of yellow rose petals. The reception followed immediately at the main ballroom in the club. Umair Zubair, their DJ, is always great to work with! He got the crowd hyped up for the reception right from the beginning, we were able to capture the energy of the room!
We shot this wedding with three Canon 5D Mark II DSL cameras with 5 lenses per camera, glidecam, slider and tripods. We delivered a 10 minute highlight reel to the client along with a long reel (approximately 1.5 hours). This package is becoming very popular with our clients.
