hey Hunter, I had way off topic reply to you. I had seen on cinematography.com that you had posted this in reply to a question about M42 glass on PL mounts.

"In short, Yes. I had an adapter for this purpose. Because of the difference in FFD, the m42 lenses need to sit down inside of the mount about 10mm, and only a handful of lenses are skinny enough to sit inside of the PL mount adapter. There are a lot of older ziess mid-range and telephoto lenses that do fit though. "

I am shooting a red epic piece coming up and wanted to use some m42 stuff. Any chance you know specifically which m42 glass fits that lens adapter. I did find the lens adapter. thanks for any help or direction at all.

yes shot on the Kowa 1.5 at least 85 percent. A few close ups I had to use reg. lenses. I didnt have a close up diopter at that time. Anyway, very tedious to use but a complete labor of love. I use it when I know I have some extra time to fiddle with things. not a lot of fun to focus, but keeps your mind sharp. I can honestly say this piece would not have turned out nearly as well without the adapter.

I agree, you definitely need to be on your game when shooting with anamorphics, the video looks great, good work.
