Here's a quick tutorial showing the workflow to use SynthEyes to 2D track a shot and import that 2D tracker into After Effects.

Would you happen to know how to use Syntheyes for MoCap? I can only find facial capture on their website, but I am interested in using moCap to control meshes, like fbx-files that create a skeleton ect..

It's great if your just an AE user but if you plan to use a 3D program you're better off with SynthEyes or something comparable.
