An update on the previous video. This time I have written a Python Plugin for maya. This makes it now possible for real time (viewport to servo) communication, without the need for dynamic playback. So now it is possible to literally keyframe your servo's position in time and playback it's animation!

    Pretty cool! How about doing this in reverse? Having Maya record the input data from Arduino so you can do complex animations via hardware.

    This is awsome, its exactly what I wanted to do, except in rhino with grasshopper... Dan, do you have any idea how to do that? Do you mind sharing the code?

    I don't get what communication speed you put ?!
    because 115 200 bps seems to be really slow !?
    Did you made a 1MBps communication ?

    Don't know much about this. But from what I can tell this is as fast as you can go with the Arduino at the moment. It used to be only 9600. I haven't done a real latency test, but I think most of the lag you see in the video is due to the max speed of the servo.
