Inspired by microorganic life in microcosmic worlds, this short film tells the story of a creature, that, even in the vastness and beauty of the surrounding world, is only but a small and insignificant part in the broad machinery of natural laws.

Cool added it to the Blender3D[Animation/Video] Channel.
You should really upload a HD version of this.
Render it in 1280x720 and it will automatically be converted to HD.

I have to complain about this video...

    It's too SHORT!

It's freakin' beautiful. Feel free to make a longer version.

And congratulations on having hit your bandwidth limit on your site. That's always fun. I did that many years ago, once. It's both irritating (because no one can see your stuff) and yet cool (because so many people WANT to.

    Again, very nice.

And I liked the music too.

For everyone who's interested, the music in the clip is "Something Dark is Coming" by Bear McCreary, from the soundtrack to the new Battlestar Galactica, season 2.

He's a brilliant composer writing great music for an amazing TV show (one of the few shows that take their music seriously and really do it right), and I highly recommend checking both out. You can find a lot of his music on YouTube, and from there I'm confident you'll be interested enough to see the TV show.

Oh, and Alex, the end of the clip says 'music by Richard Gibbs', actually Gibbs only wrote the music for the miniseries - the new stuff is all by McCreary :-)

I´m just starting to look in to Blender. It is very inspiring to see your work! Is this the result of doing on line tutorials or have you bought a lot of books and videos? Any ones you would highly recommend for getting to this level of particles, lightning and compositing? Off course your talent and imagination can´t be bought =)

Very cool! This "meduse" looks very naturally! Impressing! I hope you'll make some lessons about rendering and organic modelling.
