Thanks Mintyslippers. Some of our best shots, in terms of lighting, are less about what lights we bring or how we use them and more about how we see the light that is there. One splash of light coming through the window and falling on the wall can make for some incredible bokeh if it is seen in the right way.

Light is always something we struggle with in the UK. I am currently editing a wedding where we arrived in the restaurant for the speeches and the top table was in direct sunlight. It was a windy sunny day and one moment we had clouds leading to a very dark image and the next everyone was over exposed with sunshine. The lighting in your shots always seems perfect. as if you have control over the elements themselves. For me I am resided to color correction and levels and making use of the vectorscopes.
