Sonata in Motion - Short Film (2007)
Sonata in Motion is my first after-school short film as a director. It shows the duality of the character, who is at the same time a great pianist and exceptional triathlete. The character is real, she is named Eva Ledesma, and this was produced to help her get some sponsors and attention. The shooting was about 4 days, with bad weather and other drawbacks, but the team was commited and we were able to go through difficulties successfuly. I was in charge of 3d, editing and postproduction too. As you can imagine, it all involved months of hard work. I hope you all like it.

Great aesthetics!
What Equipment did you use during the shoot and for post?
The camera used was a Panasonic DVCPRO 50 4:2:2 with an anamorphic lens. It's not an HD camera, but a regular one which shot 720*576 anamorphic (16:9) footage, which can be converted to 1024*576 for a more cinema-like look. Considering the look it gave 3 years ago, it was a great cam. Now, it's quite obsolete with the arrival of the RED ONE.
For post, it was a combination of Avid xpress pro, 3dsmax and Vray, and Combustion.
