Guys, great job! I love the quality and "the darkness". Impressive.

But, honestly, the equipment just asks for some wider, more panoramic shots. Give`em to us! :D :D :D

    All the best!

Thanks. Your request for even wider angle shots is duly noted! We just need to get rid of the darkness and algea so that natural light can filter all the way down the the wrecks. Shouldn't be much of a problem ... :D

On a more seriuos note, getting those super w/a shots requires distance and that generally does not go to well together with the conditions that we have on deep wrecks here in Norway despite good optics, lenses and a fair amount of artificial light.

For instance, a 200 watt HMI lamp has an effective range of maybe 4 - 6 meters and a common misconception is that you can light an entire wreck with one. Unfortunately, you can't. :)

I am fully aware of that, I do dive in Baltic :)

The way You handle the lights is brilliant.

Is there any light on camera? Becasue even when the camera is moving there is no or little light movement, no shadows etc...

    Great team and good luck!

Yes, we alternate between 24w and 50 w HID lamps for the camera. Most of the shadow you usually get when having only lights on the camera get's nullified by the "external" HMI lamps. Also, the footage is color corrected and the shadows and midtones in the footage have been decreased.

The way you put light into these dark environments is simply perfect. Indeed, this asks for more wide angle, I like your works.
