Rangers try to capture wildebeest caught in a snare.
Rangers found this wildebeest caught in a snare near the Serengeti / Masai Mara border.
It is a dangerous job of trying to get a firm hold of the animal, pull it down to a secure position, and then use the wire cutters to release the snare.
Eventually rangers were able to release this animal, and it left unharmed.

1 year ago Woo, scary stuff. Where is the snare attached to? I couldn't work out if it was the leg or head etc. But keep up the amazing work you guys do. -
Joseph Kimojino 1 year agoThe snare is around the neck, but rangers are going for the back leg as they are trying to take the wildebeest down to the ground.
