This exemplary documentary shows how DIY touring is really done. In 1971, years before Black Flag blazed the Econoline trail, husband-and-wife improvisers Limpe & Paul Fuchs (and their two small children) toured across Europe in a caravan pulled by a tractor. They often ended up playing in public spaces to crowds of unprepared passers-by, creating liberating spontaneous music on drums, homemade instruments and electronics. This film is an essential Krautrock document of fearless musical pioneers and inspiration for all of us to run barefoot in the streets burning briefcases full of resumes and phone bills.
