Bata built the simple, box-like, red-brick houses for his workers in Zlin from c.1930, life span of these houses estimated at 20 years to the limit and other more modern cottages would have built after lapse on their places...
However World War II and communist totality killed all freedom and perspective ideas not only of famous architects as Le Corbusier, Kotera, Gahura, Lorenc, Karfik... :o(
And today...?
Bata's worker's houses from 1930-1940 (many of them even without any reconstruction) belong to the highest prices of realties for sales in Zlin...!
But nobody know stop time...and one day on July...
