Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) group kept chanting "You say free speech, we say f*ck you!" at the peaceful protest march at the 2008 Republican National Convention in St. Paul.
Not sure what that's about or what it accomplished.

Anarkissed 7 months agoThe IWW is not a socialist organization. It is a syndicalist union, though there are socialist members as well as anarchist members and other radicals and anti authoritarians. As far as the chant it probably accomplished just as much as a peaceful protest march would in this situation (unless it were a good 800,000+ strong) but it did get messages of various degrees out whether we fully agree with how they were said or not
