    blender tells me when i press f that blender can't make segments -.-

    Hello I think I found a solution of your problem. I had the same. My mistake was that I was adding a curve. Add -> Curve -> NURBS circle, but when I added The surface (Add -> Surface -> NURBS circle) the f key worked like a charm ;)

    @Lars Heller: Well, I don't know exactly, I need to take a look at your .blend file.
    But, as for now, I need you to take care of few things to make sure that it works:
    1- After u duplicate ur curves, combine them into one object by selecting all of them (make sure nothing else is selected) and press Ctrl+J to join them.
    2- now select ur new object (resultant of the joining step) Tab into edit mode, and select all the control curves, and press F to skin them with a surface. (Make sure that curves have the same number of control Vertices.)
