Excellent Tutorial! It was also nice to see you delve into a little Photoshop too.

    Hi Nick! Cool Stuff :)

I think they've used something like the FFD deformation instead of the Blend.

If you look closely you will see that only the front of the object (text) is curved, the back part is straight.

take a look at this example I've uploaded:
    yfrog.com/2h7tbj
    yfrog.com/5jl3ij

Also check this quick "how to" video screengrab
    screenr.com/Pbk

    Cheers!

You're trying to imitate Andrew Kramer too much in your tutorial voice. The video on the Vimeo blog right now (which sent me here) has your normal voice. Just my 2 cents.

    The tutorial is fine.

Hey, The Gorilla gets to speak however he feels like speaking. And that probably changes from time to time. With all the tutorial love he gives us for free, I think that's his prerogative.

Gorilla-Man, I'm behind you all the way, however you choose to speak.

Hey 2 Bad. I wish I could give you your 2 cents back. I don't hear any imitation. Just amazing tutorials by a guy that seems excited to be doing it. Maybe the words you were looking for are "Hey, thanks man!"

If I was making tut videos I would be happy to get input like that. The way in which you present your voice is a real issue that should be refined and improved upon especially if you are in the tut making business. With that being said however I think both Andrew and Nick are just speaking how radio broadcasters speak..

Nick, I've seen tons of your training and you don't sound anything like Kramer. If by sounding like he means entertaining and insightful then yes...you sound like Kramer. You guys both do great work. Keep it up!
