Hey Stretta. I found this video right when I needed it...I've been trying to decide whether to get an Analogue Systems case, or a Doepfer one to start my little modular family. It seems like AS make their cases with Doepfer power slots as standard, whilst you gotta use adapters for the other way round. Right? Is it a hassle? If only AS made a 6U suitcase like Doepfer do.

    Any tips?

    Cheers,
    TJ

PS. I'm still totally in love with Polygome...so inspiring.

I've never used an AS case, so I can't compare the experience. The Doepfer to ASys adapter isn't a hassle, you just have to know exactly how to plug it in.

In any case, as far as euro modules go (doepfer, cwejman, plan b, the harvestman, etc...), everyone EXCEPT ASys uses the doepfer standard.

If what you're saying about the ASys case is true (providing both connectors), that seems really handy.
