NAPIRE – The Native American and Pacific Islanders Research Experiences is geared towards undergraduate students in colleges and universities that are part of the Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation Program (LSAMP). NAPIRE was developed by the Organization for Tropical Studies and the National Science Foundation to promote Native American and Pacific Islanders cultures in research and tropical field ecology.
