One city moves in one weekend.
Allston/Brighton, a neighborhood of Boston, is home to many college students and young professionals, many of whom migrate back to Boston on Labor Day weekend. Most locals know this time simply as "moving day."
The streets are filled with moving vans, apartments buzz with activity, and then there's the trash; 171 tons of it. As leases change hands, couches, clothes, and computers are thrown to the curb. Patience is in short supply.
