August 2008. We traveled to the Neah Bay area of Washington State to stay in a great cottage on the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The property that the cottage was located on was situated in an evergreen forest and we had the beach right in our backyard. During our stay, we hiked out to Cape Flattery, the Northwestern most point of the United States, located on the Makah Indian reservation. Later, we also saw whales and sea lions just off the beach by our cottage.
