the aluminum is super stiff compared to my steamroller, but it is really noisy and i dont know if its my bottom bracket or something..."
I have had the 720TR frame for almost a year and a half now and know exactly the noise you are talking about! I had to change my bottom bracket to I think a 107 to get my chain alignment perfect, and a new chain really helped! I currently run a 13T cog and a 38T chainring, and tried to run a 48-16 setup to see if it was quieter(spelling)... Didn't help! I think it is because the aluminum is so thin, BUT! the way it is shaped and welded, I have never had the first problem!
1.Keep a fresh chain lubed.
2.Keep proper cahin tension and allignment.
3.Keep yo' shit clean! Clean your cog and chainring every once in a while. I live at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront (alot of sand!) and clean mine as much as some people maintain their road bikes...
