Tom, this was not only helpful but it was inspirational. I am planning to do a live set soon with my rather more acoustic sampling methods and I am dying to muck with my piano and guitar samples. Thanks for the hard work and good luck with that cat! I honor you for not spaying but a cat in heat is something that you just have to endure!

what the name of the track? GREAT tutorial. I have a glitch vst that can do somethign similar but i can see why its an advantage glitching that way because you kinda get a better visual sense/aspect of whats going on. awesome tutorials.

There are plugins that will add lots of glitchy effects in various rhythmic patterns, but nothing that will actually change the timbe and base waveform of the melody line. This is a great tutorial that already has my head reeling with possibilities, especially mucking with the main melody lines or percussion bits. Thanks a ton, Tom!

Hey Tom, great video! Just out of curiosity what was the reasoning behind using volume automation for the ducking as opposed to the standard compressor side chain?
