PROUDLY BENEFIT A NATIONAL CHARITABLE CAUSE TO FIGHT CHILD OBESITY
Imagine a world where all children eat healthy, are physically active and successful in school. Imagine a world where heart disease is only found in the very old. This is the vision for our country now and for the future. In 2007, Forbes Magazine listed The U.S. as 74.1% overweight, weighing in at No. 9 on the complete list of 194 overweight countries. There's a lot to overcome and we believe that the place to begin is with children, teaching good health habits that can last a lifetime.
What does Michelle Obama, Olympic Gold Medalist Apolo Ohno, the New York Jets, the Atlanta Falcons, the acting US Surgeon General, the Michigan Surgeon General, California State Superintendent Jack O'Connell, the Governor of Tennessee, the Governor of Pennsylvania, former contestant of Survivor-Season 4 contestant, Bruce Lockley and the Founding Father of Aerobics, Dr. Kenneth Cooper all have in common?
