I haven't watched them all yet, but this is by far one of my favorites so far. Really elegant stuff!

Oh my God!!! Please tell me how you did this!!! It's so cool. I'm serious, please teach me, or at least describe me somewhat of the process. Please!

    Thanks for the nice comments.
I used after effects : I did the basic 3d design and animation of the room and the colored boxes (and camera movement): rendered that out. Then I imported that animation back into the same composition and replaced the center items with the rendered comp. I then cut that comp into 9 sections and keyframed those sections separately. Its a little convoluted, and the keyframing was a pain (I usually prefer simpler solutions) but I'm happy with the results.

Thank you very much! It sounds like it will take me a while to learn that. And unfortunately I don't have a lot of time this summer. So far I preferred to make videos with no special effects at all, but I begin to like this after effects thing more and more. Thank you again for the tutorial.

Your welcome. But if you are just beginning then the best way to get into after effects is through the "classroom in a book" on after effects. I picked up my key working knowledge from about 3 of days working through the book. Its a great tool. Also, there are some great tutorials on Creative Cow: particularly by Aharon Rabinowitz:
