Each year, writers converge at Writers Conferences across the country hoping to get their books published. The key to this, of course, is getting their material into the hands of the Acquisitions Editors.

Throughout the years, many have spurned the prescribed "appointment" process and have attempted more "creative" methods of promoting their material. None have succeeded.
