    Even more homesick now...sublime.

I can honestly say you are an inspiration Mr Bloom. Since I was introduced to your work - the Loose/Kent clip (Lost Times) about 6mths ago for the first time, it has ignited a spark within me.

I'd say you are singularly responsible for me spontaneously making my wallet 800 euros lighter with the research and purchase of a Canon HF10 about 4mths ago ( I know it's no EX1 but it's a humble start and I'm saving for a Letus Mini too you bugger..) and for joining this here Vimeo and creating my first 'short'. So a big thank you Philip for sharing, for inspiring and for making a jaded 40+ designer look at the world and it's scenery with renewed vigour and purpose.

    Cheers mate.

El Vittorio Storaro/Vilmos Zsigmond of the HD vid-scene. So, does this mean I don't need to worry about Music Clearances? It seems anything goes on this 'vimeo' site.

Loved the Soundtrack, hated the movie (The Happening not yours lol). I was so excited for it to come out.. and once again.. Mr. Shyamalan failed me as a writer. I'm not even going to rent the new Avatar movie when it comes out. And by the way.. your camerawork is amazing. You've been like.. my example since I've joined this site. Out of all the filmmakers I've seen so far here. Saw your talks on FilmFellas as well and LOVed it. I'm gonna remember how hard you had it as far as equipment and funds coming up. I won't take the attention that you (and others) have brought to independent media for granted. Thank you for not coping out and becoming a b-line filmmaker, or doing it "just because." Thank you for keeping your passion, and thank you for following it. Thank you for living YOUr dream, and no one else's. You give us something to shoot for.. something to remind us of who we all are when the buck stops - artists - before all else; Creative thinkers who would go crazy if we ever settled for anything less. ANyways I've run my mouth enough now.. it's just your stuff is good. Much thanks!

Also.. I just noticed this now - about halfway through this reel... I realized that it felt like I was watching The Happening... the good parts of it lol. There were good parts. Just the way some of your shots were... or maybe the soundtrack... (probably that). But anyways. It hit me at about... 2:39 when the little girl in the pink jacket tossed the rock. Just, distinctly made me think of The Happening. I think I got that thought because a lot of the shots after 2:39 were similar (in content) to (some of the) better scenes of M. Night's film. The first example of that being how Shyamalan captured people in a very plain and ordinary way, in very plain and ordinary, everyday, leisurely, casual routines. Just before the pathogen started to effect people. And also at the end... And the second part that triggered that memory was... the landscapes.. ugh.. I feel woozy right now typing that. It jsut worked so well. The four shots immediately following the "Lost Times" excerpt all gave me goosebumps. I freaking love your stuff lol.
