The Green Burial of Steve Sall
Steve Sall was an avid outdoorsman before he was stricken with Lou Gehrig's disease.
As death neared, he chose a "green" burial. These burials are a small but growing industry. With these burials, people chose to be laid to rest in the most natural way possible - no concrete, vaulted coffins or chemicals. Just the body and the earth.
This video is a personal cut of a video report I produced for the AP on the so-called 'green' burials.'
For the story, I met Steve and his family as they picked a burial plot in a private reserve in southwest Washington. Three months later, he died. And I filmed his burial.
This is my second or third fully produced video. So let me know what you think.
I used a Canon HV40 and a Canon 550D (T2i Rebel).
For the AP cut of the video go here. It's 2 minutes long:

Did you do a lot of color correction between the HV40 and the T2i? I have both of these and I would be interested.
I did some color correction for some of the HV40 shots, especially those filmed when it was cloudy.
The only shots I color corrected with the T2i where the one with little light, such as the interview with Steve's son.
