The AR Sun Project is a work which creates a augmented reality sun that replaces the real sun and can be viewed on smart phones. The sun will stay in alignment with the real as it moves across the sky. The goal of this project is create a virtual sun which can go where the real sun cannot, such as heavenly polluted cities where the sun can no longer be seen.

Viewers can customize the sun and add sunset effects to personalize their experience. After viewers are satisfied with the look of their sun they can take scenic landscape photos of themselves with a accurate sun in the scene.
