RECESSION IMPRESSIONS - UNC CHARLOTTE
On November 3rd, 2010, London-based artist Jennifer E. Price and a team of volunteers from the Department of Art and Art History, and the College of Arts + Architecture - UNC Charlotte, impressed the image of a Dodge Caravan onto a 20' x 45' piece of cotton muslin fabric.
This large print and other related works may be seen in a special solo exhibition, "JENNIFER E. PRICE: COURTING CHARLOTTE", in the Student Union Gallery on the campus of UNC Charlotte. The exhibit runs from December 1st through the 18th, 2010.
A public reception for the artist and the many assistants is scheduled from 5-7 p.m. on December 8th.
Event is free and open to the public.
