The Women's Torah Project of the Kadima Reconstructionist Community has created the first sefer Torah to be scribed and embellished by an international community of women.
More than creating a Torah, the project opened doors for women called to do meaningful work that has been denied them for millennia because of their gender. The Women's Torah Project is about transformation, about building connections, about bringing people closer to Torah by bringing Torah closer to them.
