    Absolutely perfect from the very first moment. When he spoke of that serenity it took me back to riding my old 200cc '60s Gilera going a mere 75mph but it felt like I had just broken the sound barrier and everything went still and just flowed. Like I was just floating over the earth.

    My one beef with this film: there's only one extremely brief shot (at 2:15) where you can see the whole bike. It kind of annoyed me that I had to pause the video to actually examine the man's work.

    It's so beautifully designed, it looks and feels like very good, classic modernism, which is perfectly married to the subject - speed and hand-made machines - the Lawrence of Arabia motorcycle shot says it all. I love this. I want to hang it on my wall ;-)
