Every year thousands of monks gather at the holy city of Bodhgaya, where the Buddha reached enlightment, to pray for world peace. In order to try to help raise more funds for the monks that participate in these prayers, I was asked to create this video by H.E. the 9th Minling Khenchen Rinpoche.

Today, all over the world we see signs of steady decline in values that we call the five degenerations. In such a context, the Nyingma Religious Society's efforts to organize a Great Prayer Festival annually at Bodhgaya, the place where our compassionate teacher, Shakyamuni Buddha, found enlightment, is a source of great merit and benefit. Therefore, I offer my heartfelt appreciation to everyone involved.
