Another gear shift from last week. This Thing came to me out of nowhere, but I've been wanting to work with my friend Dan Keding's stories for a while now. This seemed like a nice simple introduction to the experiment for me. It has a nice blend of melody and lyrics reflected in the choreography. And near the end I suddenly hit on the idea of leaving the lights off. The sun was setting outside as I filmed this one; I only got two takes in before it was too dark inside!
