I just finished cutting this and it ended up being such a great race I had to post it for all to see.

This was the high point heat race for the Mini Stocks on the last night of points racing at OPS. The tightest points battle in the Championship Series, which includes Late Models and Strictly Stocks was in the Mini Stock class. Ashley Marshall was leading the points and needed to beat his closest rivals in both the heat and feature to earn the 2008 championship. What results is some fantastic, close racing.

Ashley let me mount a camera in his car so we got some great on-board shots. And the voice of Oxford Plains, Mr. Kalle Oakes, gave some of his best commentary on both the race and the championship standings.

Truly this was one great race in a Saturday night that was chock full of great races.
