Shweeet work once again. I like picking apart your video and trying to figure out how you do certain scenes, or try and figure out what gear you used to make the scene. I love the opening scene, totally looks like a photograph with that wicked wide DOF.

But the water scene (0:16-0:19)? What gear did you use for that?

I really liked the gliding shots where you had the couple utterly motionless and flew around them. Don't recall seeing that with you before and it looked amazing. Felt like I was actually flying through a photo as part of a cgi shot/bullet time shot.

One critisicm though........that was without doubt the most miserable wee towel to give to a bride!

I agree. I am experimenting with different export methods. Unfortunately I am just so busy right now that the AppleTV preset out of compressor seems to be the best balance of size, quality, and just getting the clip out and ready to share.

Thanks for the great response guys.

This was shot mostly with Canon A1s. The clip has extensive grading all done in FCP, mostly with native filters and home brew looks. We used one 35mm adapter, which would be the brevis of course. The moving shots were done with a steadicam and the water shots were an HV20 w/ a housing.

Hope that covers it all.

hi. techinically, this is an amazing video. the steadicam movement in those confined spaces and the spot on focus and the refined grading, all very difficult to do, especially on a consistant basis. i am, however, curious about the motivation behind the sweeping, careening shots. i was so preoccupied with the technical aspects of the video, that i really lost sight of the couple, honestly forgetting it was supposed to be about them at all. i am again, blown away by your command of the medium, but do question it in this context.
