Inspired by John Lisiecki's salt quarter videos which are awesome.

See one here vimeo.com/1680619

1 shot every 15 sec.

I don't know why it jumps around. I set it up and went to Disneyland, maybe the dog or cat hit it a few times.

Thanks Alex. Actually I had tested it over night on the same penny and washed off the crust it looked as good as new underneath.

I'm glad to hear it. Ahhh lovely copper... birth of the metalurgy for humans I think. Persians? I don't know.. but copper age is right after stone age.

Thanks John, I had to give you credit too. What kind of salt did you use? Your crystals are alot bigger than what I got.

I used Morton non-iodized coarse sea salt, crushed to a fine powder, boiled in microwave, I kept adding salt until the water was completely saturated, until the crystals were still visible at the bottom of the shot glass after a quick boil.

Neat. what did you do just put a few drops of salt water on the coin and this is the result as it evaporates?

Imagine what it does to your insides :)

Nice music as well.. someone getting excited for the new knight rider series hehe :)

Yep , I made some salt water with table salt and added it to the penny and let it dry.

I have run my course through all my movie theme songs. One of these days I will buy Cinescore, maybe.

Cool, scary, all at the same time. I know the answer for the jumping around--you live in So.Cal bro!! Them were tremors!

    Now I gotta try this.....
I have to stop watching your stuff and get some ideas of my own. Kudo's to John too, for imaginative thinking.
