Living in America, Alhamdulillah (All Praise is due to Allah), we are blessed to live peaceful lives full of opportunities open for us to take. But of course, with the rise of certain current events, the outlook on Muslims and Islam as a whole has been one that has become quite negative.
This was an eye opening discussion by Haroon Moghul, about the current rise of Islamophobia, its effect on the community and how we, as Muslim Americans, should respond.
Haroon Moghul is currently the Executive Director of the Maydan Institute, a communications and consulting company devoted to improving relationships and increasing understanding between Muslims and the West.
