Made with Cinder and the Kinect CinderBlock.
libcinder.org

Two Kinects running at the same time. Each depthmap is compared and the closer value is kept. Allows for the creation of mutant hybrids, arms coming out of stomachs, etc.

this is the kind of thing i've really been looking forward to... stuff you can do with 3d sensing that is absolutely impossible any other way :)

Have you observed any sort of interference?
Or projected IR fields not оverlaped so much?
  • jonbro 1 year ago
yeah, this is the question of the moment.

    i second this question
  • flight404 plus 1 year ago
At first, i thought there was no interference, but in later studies, i noticed holes appearing in the mesh and these holes would go away if I covered one of the two kinects. So in general, Id say the interference was minimal but definitely present. :)
