WELCOME to the 2010 Tour de Fair Haven
Bicycle Racing Event!
Tour de Fair Haven, presented by USA Cycling Federation (USCF) affiliate Cycles54 and ForeFront, Inc., in partnership with Borough of Fair Haven and Fair Haven Business Association, is an exciting and competitive event for cycling enthusiasts. The date of the race is Sunday, Sep 19th and is held every year, the 3rd weekend in September.
Tour de Fair Haven is expected to draw 400+ cyclist amateurs from North East and Mid-Atlantic regions. The race will be followed by festive activities for kids of all ages and their families. The event brings Fair Haven, nearby communities and the cycling community together in a safe, educational and respectful environment.
Tour de Fair Haven is not only a venue to build awareness about the sport of bike racing for our youth, it is also an opportunity to build awareness about ALS (commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease). ALS has no known cause, no cure and can happen to anyone of us. All event proceeds and sponsorships will be directed to a local 501c3 charity, Joan Dancy & PALS (People with ALS) Foundation. Through this bike race, we hope that we will contribute in making a positive difference in the quality of life of ALS patients.
Tour de Fair Haven invites you, your friends and your family to experience this incredibly fast action event and to stroll around the scenic Navesink river enjoying local fare, entertainment, and old-fashioned family fun!
Special Thanks to our 2010 Race Sponsors and Participants!
